Model GX2017 Instructions. These instructions are meant as an Easy Guide supplement to the manufacturers Instructions included with the Watch and are aimed to assist you to understanding the operation of the watch. As you gain experience, you will make more sense of the Manufacturers Instructions.

The operation of the watch is simple once you know How. Please take a little time to understand the operation. There is a test Recording and some Music  on the Watch.

First you should fully charge the watch by plugging in the USB cable to the bottom of the charger and plugging in the other end into the watch. (Make sure that the plug clips into the watch firmly as indicated by a click) The watch should be charged for 4-6 hours before use.

SECTION ONE

Watch Modes (Please read and understand who to switch between the various modes on the watch. (Music Mode Blue Light on steady.)  (FM Radio Mode, Red Light ON Steady)  ( Voice Record Mode, Small Green Light ON Steady.)

Turn on the watch by holding down the Play button for 1 second.  It may take a few seconds for the blue light to come on and remain steady. (This is the Music stand by mode)

Now quickly press the REW/VOL- Button.  You will notice that a Red Light has come ON. (This is the FM Radio Mode)

Press the REW/VOL- Button quickly again and you will notice a small GREEN light come on. (This is the Voice Record Mode)

If you Press the REW/VOL- Button again you will return to the Music Play Mode again( Steady Blue Light)

NOTE: To return to the “Stand By”  Mode, from any Mode (Music, Record, FM Radio) PRESS and hold down the Play Button until the Appropriate Blinking Coloured Light Turns to a Steady Light.

NOTE:  The watch MUST be in one of the stand by Modes to Turn OFF. Then a Long Press of the PLAY Button during which the lights will flash and then all lights will turn off to indicate that all functions of the watch have been turned off.

SECTION TWO

Play Music.

To Switch on the watch, holding down the Play button for 1 second.  It may take a few seconds for the blue light to come on and remain steady. (This is the Music stand by mode)

Now Press the Play button quickly. The music will start playing. To increase the Volume of the Music push and hold down the FF/VOL+ until the correct volume is set. The Decrease the Volume hold down the REW/VOL- button until the correct volume is set.

To turn off the music quickly press the Play button. Music Stops and the Blue Light Blinks.

To return the Watch to the Stand. Hold Down the Play button until the blue light remains steady.

If you want to turn the watch off at this stage, hold down the Play Button until the lights turn off.

You can download your Music to the watch by plugging the USB cable supplied with the watch into your computers USB port and the other end into the watch. Double Click on “Computer” and bring up your computer File window.  Do this twice, so you have two windows open.  Select the USB watch with one of the windows and the location of your music with the other window. Now just drag and drop your music from your computer into the watch. The watch is capable of holding over 500 songs. If you also want to store recordings on the watch, then leave enough storage memory for this purpose by cutting down on the number of songs you store in the watch memory.

Voice Recording.

Switch on the watch, holding down the Play button for 1 second.  It may take a few seconds for the blue light to come on and remain steady. (This is the Music stand by mode)

Quickly Press the REW/VOL- Button a couple of times until the GREEN Light comes on.  . (This is the Voice Record Mode)

Now press the REC button to start the recording (Green and Blue Lights Blink)

To stop the recording press the REC button again. (Green Light Blinks) You can start the recording again by pressing the REC button again.

Press the REC button again to stop the recording. Now Press the play button and you can listen to the recordings. FF/REW will skip Forward and Backwards through the recordings you have made on the watch. If the recording volume is low on your first recording increase the volume by using the VOL+ button for your next recording.  The increase the Volume while you are listening to the recordings Hold Down the VOL+ Button until the correct volume is set. To decrease the volume hold down the VOL- button until the correct volume is reached.

To get out of the record mode (Green Light Blinking) Press and hold the Play button until the green light is steady. Then quickly press the REW/VOL- button.

You will see a RED Light (FM Radio Mode) (Blue Light Music Mode)  or Green Light (Record Mode Again)

You can download the recording to your computer by plugging the USB cable supplied into your computers USB port and the other end into the watch. Double Click on “Computer” and bring up your computer File window. Select the USB device and then select MICDIR on the watch. All your recordings are stored in this directory. Just drag and drop the files to a suitable directory on your computer.

FM Radio (Only the GX2017 has this function)

Select FM Radio as indicated in section ONE. (Red Light Steady)

Now press the Play Button (Red Light Blinks)

Quickly Pressing the Play Button will now Change Radio Channels.

Volume is controlled by VOL+ OR VOL- buttons.

Press and hold the Play Button to stop the FM Radio (Red Light Steady)

Pressing the VOL- will take you back to the Other Modes.
