A guide to mp3 functions

Thank you for choosing our MP3 watch! Please read this manual carefully before using the Mp3 watch, so as to operate it correctly.

I. Notice

1.         Avoide using the MP3 watch in very cold/hot place!

2.         Do not strike or beat the watch .Donot drop it in the water!

3.         Do not try to disassemble the watch if you are not professional!

4.         Do not use mp3 fuctions during driving or circling in case of accident!

5.         When formatting the FLASH memory, please use the “FAT” format, Do not use the “FAT32” format!

2. Operation

Music Mode

Turn OnConnect the earphones to the MP3 watch, press and hold the “PLAY button over 2 seconds, the red light flahes one time, then the green light turns on, which indicates the MP3 has entered the playing mode.

Turn OffIn pausing status (the green light on), press and hold “PLAY button over 2 seconds, the MP3 player will shut down automatically after the red light flashes.

Music PlayingUnder the playing mode, press PLAY” button once, the MP3 will play the music automatically, and the green light flashes. If no other buttons are pressed, the player will play the songs in order till the last one, then it turns to the first song.

EQ ModeIn music playing status, hold “EQ/REC>2 secondsRed light on,you can select 7 EQ musical modes, the baseic 5 modes namely: Normal, Pop, Classic, Rock and Jazz. Press “EQ/REC” to select the mode you like and the player will rotationally switch them one by one.

A-B RepeatIn music playing statuspress “ EQ/REC ” button once, red light is on, and set A as start point to repeat; press the EQ/REC a second time to set B as end point to repeat; then the player will play the selected section repeatedly(Red light blinking). In this A-B repeating status, you can press EQ/REC ” or PLAY” (twice) to quit it, and the the MP3 player will play from the B point, the green light blinks.

Track SelectionWhen playing music, press “FF/VOL+” to jump to the next track; press “REW/VOL- to back to the previous track .

Volume AdjustmentWhen playing music, press and hold “FF/VOL+” (over 2 seconds) to increase the musical volume; press and hold “REW/VOL-” (>2 seconds) to decrease the musical volume.

Pause: When playing music (green light blinks), press “PLAY” once, the player is paused playing music and the green light turns on; press again to re-start it; when the player is paused over 20 seconds, it will turn off automatically to save the power.

Music playing / recording mode selection: In the music pauseing status (the green light on), press the “FF/VOL+” or “REW/VOL-” button (the red light blinks 4 times) to change to the recording waiting mode (the yellow light on); and under this recording waiting mode, you can press the “FF/VOL+” or “REW/VOL-” button to back to the music pauseing status.

Recording mode:

Text Box: ※ Shortcut recording:In the music pauseing status, just press “EQ/REC” button,the player turns to the recording mode and begins to record (the yellow light and the green light flicker by turns).
 


 

Enter the recording modeIn the music pauseing status (green light is on,press “EQ/REC” once to enter the recording status, the green light turns off, the red light and the green light flicker by turns, means the player is in recording status.

Pause for recording: In recording status, press “PLAY can pause for recording, and save your recording right now. then the player is in the recording waiting statusthe yellow light turns on; you can press the “PLAY to play the recorded files, or press the “FF/VOL+” or “REW/VOL-” button to back to the music pauseing status.

Playing the recorded files: In recording waiting status, press PLAY button to play the recorded file, and the yellow light blinks. (other operations are the same as Music Playing.

FM Radio mode:

If you choose the watch with FM Radio module, you can operate it as follow: In the music pausing status (green light is on), hold the EQ/REC button (over 2 seconds), It enters in the FM Radio mode. You can use FF/VOL+ to search up for the broadcasting stations, or use REW/VOL- to search down for the broadcasting stations.

In the FM Radio mode, hold the EQ/REC button over 2 seconds, it can back to the Music pausing status.

 

 

III. Driver Installation

1.        No driver installation is needed if the operating system is Win ME / 2000/XP or above. Win 98 need it.

2.        Connect the MP3 player to the computer through its USB port; the PC will indicate that a new hardware device is found.

3.        Complete the driver installation as directed by the PC

4.        When the installation is completed, double click “My Computer” and you will find a “Removable Hard Disk” icon.

IV. Connecting to Computer

1.  When properly connected, you can find the “Removable hard disk” icon in “My Computer”

2.  Download musical files to MP3 player:

(a). Support musical files of MPEG1/2, Layer 3. Compression rate: 32kbps to 256kbps

(b). Red light blinks when downloading files. Blinking stops and red light on when it is completed.

(c). Do not disconnect the USB cable from either side while reading or transmitting files. Otherwise, the files may be destroyed or deleted.

MP3 player can also be used as flash memory disk. To do so, you need to copy the files to the “Removable hard disk” shown on “My Computer”

V. Charging

1.       The built-in Li-ION battery can be recharged by USB or A/C transformer. connect the watch to the charger correctly by USB, the red light will turn on, charging is in process. When battery is fully recharged, the red light turns off and the green light turns on, then complete the recharge process.

2.       If red light flickers under music playing mode, the player is in low battery and will turn off in seconds. Please follow the upmentioned direction to recharge it.

3.       For the first time using the MP3 player, exhaust the battery, then charge it for over 7 hours!   Since, you can charge the MP3 watch for 3 hours every time.

VII. Troubleshooting

Should any problem continue after you have checked these symptoms,

please contact customer support.

No Power

ü    Battery may be discharged. Charge it after connecting

the USB cable between the PC and the player.

No sound or distortion

during playback.

ü    Check whether VOLUME is set to "0".

ü    Connect the earphones plug firmly.

ü    Check whether the plug is dirty. Clean the plug with a dry and soft cloth.

ü    Corrupted MP3 or WMA files may make a static noise and the sound may cut off. Listen to your files on the PC to see if they are corrupted.

Failed download of MP3 file

ü    Check to see if the battery is discharged, charge if necessary.

ü    Check the connection between your computer and the player to ensure that the cable is secure.

ü    Check the Driver program to make sure it is operating.

ü    Check whether the player’s memory is full.
